Cashier Responsibilities
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
Process payments and operate the POS system
Bag food and ensure customers receive the correct order
Communicate special requests clearly to the grill team
Provide quick, friendly, and high-quality customer service
Greet and welcome customers as they arrive
Handle customer concerns and escalate complaints to management
Ensure correct change is given and follow store policies
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all food safety and handling procedures
Work collaboratively with team members to maintain smooth service
Perform tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Physical & Skill Requirements
Ability to kneel, bend, twist, or stoop to obtain products
Ability to reach and grasp objects above head and below waist
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Carrot & Daikon Banh Mi is hiring Kitchen Helpers / Kitchen Staff / Prep Cooks to support our growing Vietnamese restaurant team. Kitchen experience is preferred, especially with Vietnamese pho noodle soup cooking and prep.

Schedule & Availability
Part-time and full-time positions available
Shifts available 7 days a week from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment

Kitchen Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients including chopping vegetables, peeling fruits, cutting meats, and measuring spices
Assist in food prep for all menu items
Prepare sauces, marinades, and dressings
Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, and stovetops
Follow company recipes and food preparation guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
Ensure all dishes are prepared to high standards and served on time
Coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain proper timing and workflow
Assist other kitchen team members as needed
Maintain clean and sanitized workstations, tools, knives, and cutting boards
Properly store ingredients to maintain freshness and quality
Follow all food safety regulations to prevent contamination and foodborne illness
Work efficiently under pressure to meet service deadlines

Physical & Skill Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work standing for extended periods
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Familiarity with restaurant kitchen operations (preferred)
